Electronic Waste Recycling Event
Union Square Park - North Plaza - 17th Street & Broadway
Sunday, January 4th, 2009 from 10 am - 4 pm Rain or shine
You are invited to bring your outdated, broken or otherwise unwanted electronics to the electronic recycling drive on Sunday, January 4th, 2009 at Union Square Park - North Plaza. The Lower East Side Ecology Center will accept all things electronic: computers, monitors, printers, keyboards and mice, TV's, dvd & cd players, audio-visual equipment, etc.
Electronics contain many toxic materials that can cause environmental damage if not disposed off correctly - for example a crt monitor contains up to 5 pounds of lead.
