Learn what makes a material sustainable as well as factors to consider in material use, including environmental impact, recycling capabilities and local procurement. Explore how each phase of the development of materials, from harvesting through processing and finishing, affects the sustainability of the finished product. Find out what certifications and organizations are setting the standards for sustainable materials.
