For the month of June, Tuesday, June 24th to be exact, we have Socrates Sculpture Park hosting an after hours Queens Green Drinks featuring fresh fruit smoothies AND their internationally renowned outdoor sculpture museum. Their current exhibit, Waste Not, Want Not, features artists using primarily found, recyclable, repurposed objects to form a complete exhibit. Socrates also organizes and plays host to a variety of programs including the Summer Solistice Festival, yoga & tai chi, an international film series and more, all for free!

What's Queens Green Drinks again? Very simply, it's an informal social gathering/networking event for folks that are environmentally minded. Come and I'll introduce you to some of the other like minded folks in and around Queens. If we're lucky (which is likely) we'll cross pollinate make new friends, catch up with old ones, and maybe even sprout an idea or three.

Since this is a new little experiment for our borough, please help get the word out and tell your friends about it! Heck, why don't you bring them?
