Just a few weeks remain to enter the "Create the Future" Design Contest, presented by SolidWorks Corp. and co-sponsored by COMSOL, Hewlett-Packard, NASA Tech Briefs, and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

The sixth annual contest recognizes outstanding innovations in product design, awarding a Grand Prize of $20,000 USD, and six First Prizes (one from each category listed below) of HP engineering workstations.

Submit your original design ideas in any of six categories:
* Consumer Products
* Machinery, Equipment, and Component Technology
* Medical
* Safety and Security
* Sustainable Technologies
* Transportation

For the first time this year, you may elect to have your entry posted on the contest Web site. The 10 most-visited entries will each be awarded $250 USD. All qualified entrants will get a Create the Future Design Contest T-shirt. Winning entries will be featured in NASA Tech Briefs magazine and receive worldwide publicity.
