o2NYC Reception at Kaight in Honor of Project Earth Day

WHAT: Every month people who work in the environmental field meet up for a beer at networking events known as Green Drinks - its a chance to mix with other like-minded people, share info and make friends. These events are very simple and unstructured, but many people have found employment, developed new ideas, done deals and had moments of serendipity. It's a force for the good and its spreading around the world.

Come join o2NYC for an eco-fashion and textile design networking event at the gorgeous Lower East Side eco-boutique, Kaight. Meet, eat and drink with green-minded Textile Designers, Fashion Designers, Accessory and Jewelry Designers, students and interested others.

The reception is being held in honor of Project Earth Day, an upcoming fashion show (April ’07) produced by Emerging Green Builders New York.

Project Earth Day is a showcase of hot, emerging designers on the green scene, and the future of fashion. The runway show will feature a stunning display of the latest apparel and textile designs in eco-friendly recycled fibers and found materials. Project Earth Day is co-sponsored by Teknion, o2NYC, and Green Drinks.

Wine and refreshments will be provided. O2NYC kindly requests a donation of $5 to attend the event (payable at the door).
