WHAT: Green Drinks NYC ~ Every 2nd Tuesday of the month, 100 or so New Yorkers who are interested in exploring all things green and sustainable meet at different fabulous locations around the city. It’s a great chance to mix with other green-minded folks, share info and make new friends. Open to everyone.

WHEN: Tuesday, November 14, 2006 6 – 10pm

WHERE: SLANE at 102 MacDougal Street between Bleecker and West 3rd map. $10 suggested donation.

HOW: Walk, cycle, bus, subway, taxi (ok if more than two passengers.)

WHO: Anyone who likes networking and being social.

WHY: Fun, contacts, alcohol, info, gossip, inspiration, business and pleasure.

NEW: Just go up to someone and say "are you green?", and you'll be made welcome.

STATUS: Informal, self-organizing network. Every month since July, 2001. Average attendance: 100.
