Come DOWNTOWN next month for Green Drinks at Ear to the Earth sound and image gallery! Experience incredible sounds and sights from nature, remember those?
WHAT: Green Drinks NYC ~ Every 2nd Tuesday of the month, 100 or so New Yorkers who are interested in exploring all things green and sustainable meet at different fabulous locations around the city. It’s a great chance to mix with other green-minded folks, share info and make new friends. Open to everyone.
WHEN: Tuesday, October 10, 2006 6 – 10pm - $10 admission
WHERE: Ear to the Earth at 3LD Gallery / Art Center!, 80 Greenwich Street @ Rector, about 5 minutes walk from the World Financial Center. Look for a glass facade to the right of the entrance to the Battery Parking Garage. map.
Ear to the Earth takes place October 6 - 14 in New York City and is a week-long festival of environmental sound and image with installations, panels, and concerts. Conceived and organized by Electronic Music Foundation, the aim of the festival is to inspire sensitivity to our natural and human environments through sound and foster engagement in environmental issues.
